PFA have been commissioned by the Core and Outer HMAs to assess the housing and support needs of Older People that can be used for Housing, Planning, Regeneration and Support planning purposes by the two HMAs and by individual local Authorities.

 

The work will include quantitative and qualitative work to enable focused planning of future housing and support services for Older People and will produce a set of specific recommendations for each local authority as well as the HMAs.

 

Stakeholder workshops, surveys, focus groups and GIS mapping will all be used and this commission will build on previous work done in Nottinghamshire including an Older People’s Housing Study for the East Midlands Regional Assembly.
