Much of our work around children and young people relates to the transitions from childhood to adulthood. This applies both to vulnerable young adults, such as young people with a learning disability, and to socially excluded groups such as young people leaving care.
Our work covers young homelessness, youth offending, substance misuse, teenage parents, mental health and learning disability.
Much of the work relates to working with Supporting People teams and service providers on needs assessments, strategy and service planning.
We also work directly with providers to review their services such as nursery provision and housing and support services for young people.
