We have a long track record of working with vulnerable adults across mental health, learning disability, physical disability and sensory impairment.
Much of the focus has been developing strategy and service plans that link housing, health and social care together, as well as looking at the broader aspects of social inclusion and well-being.
We undertake work for central Government, for example reviewing the first round of Valuing People housing strategies for people with a learning disability for the DH Valuing People team.
We also undertake cross authority work, such as the housing dimension of the King’s Fund Mental Health Inquiry for London.
We have excellent experience of working directly with service users and carers to ensure that our strategies and development plans are person centred, and build on what people want, including addressing aspirational and important issues of independence and tenure choice around new service models.
In our strategy and service development work we are increasingly bringing thinking and service planning for vulnerable adults together in order to look at the synergies across different user groups.
We also undertake service reviews for both accommodation and support services as well as for related areas such as adaptations.
